2005 was year number 5 for us at Austin. Weather was absolutely perfect. We caught plenty of eating size walleye on the main lake, as well as in the upper portage. As usual, we made our trek to the lower looking for a monster walleye. No big pike this year, but there seemed to be more smaller ones in the walleye hot spots....damn things were trying to eat the walleye off our line and stringers....good for a laugh. Water was high, so we all got adventurous and were able to get into a few other lakes too. L&M has always been helpful, friendly, and very professional. They run a top notch operation so me and the guys will be back for year number 8 with L&M.
This is a great lake to fish. L&M family is a great bunch to work with always helpful.
