Thanks Pikeslayer for the reference to the Packer coolie cups. We sent those up from Madison, WI. for you KC fans. We (Richardson) were the group that came in after you that year. (early july 2005) Thanks for the info on Strout lake as we spent 3 days hunting the big pike in that area. We ended up with 3 over 40" along with all the eye's we wanted. The islands in the middle of Wright were also very productive with hundreds of walleyes in the 21 - 24" range. Very few under 20". It was often a struggle to find enough legal eaters. We also enjoyed the visitors at the cabin. (flying squirrel and woodchucks??) We could not make Wright lake for 2007 and will be going to Dobie this summer instead. As with all the camps Larry, Mary, Shane, Lucas, and Nichole do a great job and make all who visit very welcome. I would reccomend L & M to anyone.
We fished Wright Lake June 11/17/08. Rain, wind and cold weather every day. You had to work to get fish. Nice fish were caught but it was about 40% of normal fish caught. Will try another L&M lake next year.
